Fun Bus 2014
On Monday, October 6th, the 2014 class of Fun Bus assembled in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, at the home of Judy Phillips. Joining our fearless organinzer, Carol Ogurek, were Betty Rieger, Debby Lindgren, Korine Whiting, Patty Duerst, Pat Rosenbohm, and Judy Phillips.
For the next four days, a fun time was had by all as we toured Door County, eating and drinking (and shopping) our way around the door. Of course, there were our "must-do's"- Fish Boil at Pelletier's and brunch at Al Johnson's, where we were joined by Joan Hodson and Suzanne Seifer. We also managed to squeeze in a cook-out and movie night at Pat and Ron Rosenbohm's, lunch at Stone Harbor Resort, and brunch on Thursday at Fran Reed's, where Bonnie Abrahamson and Donna Jensen made our group complete. The most-awaited part of everyone's week, of course, is always one of Korine's massages (only slightly interrupted by the noise of our first-ever game of Dominoes Mexican Train).
I love you, dear friends, and look forward to our next gathering.
"I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy. Let's face it, friends make life a lot more fun."
